To coincide with significant amenity and interior updates, our team was engaged by JBG Smith to reposition and brand 1875 Connecticut, a 1960s-inspired office building located in historic Dupont Circle. To complement the retro yet modern vibe, the identity features a mid-century style wordmark and visual language system of bright colors, hand-drawn textures, artistic patterns, halftone and colorized imagery influenced by pop art, and vintage-inspired typography and drop shadows. A messaging matrix plays off the name and highlights the more social-friendly amenity spaces by “connecting your work day” and “crafting new connections.”Co
